IIM Kashipur Admission Process

IIM Kashipur offers admission to postgraduate and doctoral-level programmes. For IIM Kashipur MBA admission, the institute accepts scores of CAT, for the MBA Analytics programme, scores of CAT/GMAT are accepted. Candidates can appear for GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/IIMB Test for the Ph.D programme at Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. IIM Kashipur admission to Executive MBA is based on CAT/GMAT score (last two years) or marks obtained in Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) conducted by IIM Kashipur followed by a personal interview.

The final merit list for IIM Kashipur Executive MBA admission will be prepared based on CAT/GMAT/EMAT score, academic performance, work experience and personal interview. According to the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur admission procedure, selected candidates have to submit the documents for verification. Executive MBA Analytics	Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an equivalent academic pursuit (i.e., 10+2+3), with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent CGPA (42% for NC-OBC, EWS 40% marks for SC/ST/DAP).

IIM Kashipur MBA Admission Process

First, meet IIM Kashipur eligibility criteria.
Second, appear for the CAT, conducted by IIM Bangalore.
Third, after the declaration of the result, IIM Kashipur releases the cutoff.
Fourth, candidates meeting the cutoff have to fill the institute application form.
Fifth, shortlisted candidates have to appear for a personal interview.

1: What scholarships are offered to students by IIM Kashipur?

Scholarships offered by the Indian Institute of Management Kashipur are the need cum merit-based financial assistance. Candidates from both 1st year PGP and 2nd year PGP can avail of the scholarship. Up to 46 scholarships can be availed by first and second-year students. The scholarship is awarded based on the candidates’ academic performance and annual family income. I been got a email regarding MBA Analytics from IIM Kashipur, My Academics are 94/69/74 In 10th/12th/UG Non Engineer & NC-OBC Cat score 63 percentile with sectional cutoff of 77/70/17 In each sections. Do i have a chance for shortlisting?

To answer your question, NO, work experience in not compulsory for MBA in Business Analytics from IIM Kashipur.

My Brother is from Uttar Pradesh. He has opportunities from both IIM TRICHY and IIM KASHIPUR. Kashipur is closer to home, but he doesn't want to miss if Trichy better. Please suggest what would be a better choice!

I would suggest your brother to go for IIM( Indian Institute of Management ) Trichy(Tiruchirappalli ) as it is definitely a better IIM than IIM Kashipur as according to NIRF rankings IIM Trichy is at 17 where as IIM Kashipur is at 33 so you can see the huge difference , also IIM Kashipur is a very new IIM in comparison to Trichy .

Your brother should choose a better college than the one which is closer to home .The placement scenario of Trichy is much better than Kashipur .
