Vinay Kumar 16th Sep, 2020

Hello Rahul,

As per my view ,from the courses that you had mentioned, i choose civil as a best option. As our country is a developing one there are plethora of opportunities in the construction field. The other two courses are emerging ones in our country.

The decision is all yours, try to gather info from your relatives, seniors etc.

Here i'm providing a link regarding the details of your college. Also try figure out in which field you have intrest, that's the main point.

In Ramaiha institute of technology in these two branch which one is good according to placement wise. 1. Industrial engineering 2. Electronic instrumation engineering

tinni.chats 16th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant

Between the two choices that you have in mind, personally, i would recommend that Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE) is better than Industrial Engineering, because it has wider scope, both in job prospects as well as if you want to pursue higher education, EIE will open up more doors for you in future. EIE is an emerging subject, and in today's world it is in great demand, so keeping all that in mind, my option would be EIE. And as far as Ramaiha Institute, both the subjects are equally good there, i just stated the better one as a subject.

If you are still confused, and want some more options, or want to know about all the other colleges that you might get into with your JEE Mains, you can find that out here:

Which one is better ( civil or industrial ) engineering from Ramaiha institute of technology Bangalore placement wise ?

Vipul Chaudhary 14th Sep, 2020

It depends upon your interest and the field which you wanna live the rest of your life in. Ok as you wish let us compare both…

The differences between civil and industrial engineering lie in the technical aspects required of the projects undertaken. The work civil engineers mostly do on large-scale projects, which require the design, construction and maintenance of the infrastructure of cities and countries. The systems that they implement include roads, bridges, dams, airports, buildings, water supply systems and sewage and waste treatment plants. Civil engineers put emphasis on efficiency and safety to ensure the systems they construct run smoothly to minimize risks to public use.

Civil engineers must consider the construction environment when choosing building sites, selecting construction materials, planning structures and completing projects to protect their work from natural hazards. They may have to retrofit old structures as a safeguard against earthquakes, tornadoes and other disasters. They work on renewable energy projects and contain and dispose of solid and liquid wastes. These engineers also ensure projects comply with federal, state and local environmental mandates.

Industrial engineers are responsible for creating and maintaining the systems that are used to create products, deliver services, and build infrastructure. When developing systems that power industries, industrial engineers must take into account all of the factors involved, including users, materials, processes and supply chain management. They implement control systems to manage production schedules and flow, resolve production issues and analyze costs and spending. Unlike civil engineers, whose main priorities are creating practical designs and maintaining public safety, industrial engineers are considered “efficiency experts” who maximize efficiency and minimize costs in production environments.

If you compare it by salary i’d say its almost same for both if you go for core jobs and management jobs. It now depends up on the institute you choose on ,the course more popular with more knowledgeable and experienced profs.

Difference between Machenical engineering and Industrial engineering ?

ARYAN SAGAR 13th Sep, 2020
Dear student, in India there are many good branches for btech with a very good placement records for over years. One of them is mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest branch in India and is one of the most reputed branches among other branches.

Mechanical engineering is a core branch and industrial engineering is not a core branch. Industrial engineering can be termed as sub part of civil, chemical, mechanical engineering or production engineering branch. In my advise always go with the core branches because the placement are always very good for core branches
