My jee main rank not good , but I get Industrial engineering branch in Ramaiha institute of technology can I go through it or not ? Is it better for my future scope ? please help

rehan18alam Student Expert 13th Sep, 2020

Dear Aspirant

If this was your first attempt at JEE main, and you think you can do better with one year preparation, then I suggest you should take a drop year and prepare again for JEE main. Try to get a good rank and get into a good NIT with top branches like CS, ECE, IT, etc.

But, if you have this as your last attempt and have no other option, and are sure to do engineering then go for industrial, All the engineering branches are good, but they are not good for everybody.

Make sure to find out more about Industrial engineering subjects and whether you are interested in that or not.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

How is nit silchar in terms of placement for control and industrial automation??

Suvakanta Sahu 9th Sep, 2020

Dear Rupesh ,

National Institute of Technology  Silchar is ranked at 51  in the Engineering category by NIRF Ranking 2019, making it one of the leading technical institutes in India. NIT Silchar has had a great placement record with more than 86% of B.Tech students getting placed last year, with an average annual CTC of INR 6.25 LPA. The highest package offered was for INR 32.5 LPA, from Arcesium India Pvt Ltd.  Placement is very goo .On considering students with above 6. 5 CGPA, almost good percent gets placed in ECE and CSE branch. Although it is a little less in other branches. Few companies like ITC, L&T Infotech, Cap Gemini, Samsung R&D, TATA etc visits every year. But as per your specific industrial automation is not good according to placements .

Hope it will helpful

thanks

In these two which one branch is good ( 1. Industrial engineering 2.Instrumation engineering ) ? From Ramaiha institute of technology !! Please reply ??

MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is one of the best private Engineering colleges of Karnataka. It has been ranked 33 in India. Not only the academics, placement wise MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is pretty good compared to many private Engineering colleges of the state. The department of placement looks after the matter of placement and trainings. Along with the regular course curriculum, MS Ramaiah also provides students with workshops, trainings, seminar, soft skills classes etc.
Industrial Engineering graduates are hired by Companies such as JSW, Amazon, Toyota, L&T, and various chemical, Construction based companies with an average package of 3 to 4 lpa. Few software companies also recruit Industrial Engineers. Being on the top Engineering colleges of the state, the placement record is pretty good for Industrial Engineering.
Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is also a good branch. As per the official website, there is arohnd 80% placement every year for Instrumentation branch while for Industrial Engineering it is 85%. Unlike Industrial Engineering, there are less number of core companies recruiting Electronics and Instrumentation Engineers. Most of the companies which hire Instrumentation Engineers are TCS, Infosys, Infotech etc.
Not only the placement scenario, you must also think about your interest and passion, which branch you want to go for. The placement Statistics are quite good.

which branch is good in Ramaiha institute of technology industrial or instrumation? ( placement wise )

yash 8th Sep, 2020
ISE at MSRIT is really good. As I had discussed with my friends from CSE/ISE, ISE is more preferable. Because,in CSE some of the subjects are taught only in Labs. So,you wont be having the good theory basics which is important for your placements. Apart from this both branches are almost the same with respect to placements. And the highest package offered was I think 28LPA(18+10shares) by Amazon.I prefer ISE.

But DONT go with ECE. Neither you enjoy nor good placements at the end.
