In msrit Bangalore which branch should I take for good Placement in these and also good for future scope. 1. industrial engineering. 2.civil engineering . 3. chemical engineering

Dhruv 25th Sep, 2020
Hello, it depends on your interest in which field you are most comfortable.

Also, in my opinion I will recommend you to go with chemical engineering as it is a very good branch and has better scope of placements than other two branches.
If you go for higher studies after doing Chemical engineering then it will be good for you to get a good placement.

kindly tell me which course is better between chemistry and industrial chemistry

Sumanth Vallyapur 11th Aug, 2020

Hi aspirant,

Industrial chemistry is better than only chemistry. If you study chemistry, you can be become lecture and if you go for industrial chemistry, you can explore industries of various cities and sometimes countries as well. In industry, there are chances of becoming, CEO or manager of the company, but same thing is not possible in just chemistry.

Can i get industrial and production engineering in nit jalandhar with 43856 rank with general category and i am a boy. can i change my branch in next year .. and upto which branch can i change

Kanith Sawkar 19th Sep, 2020
It's difficult to tell exactly, but according to previous year's cutoff, it would be difficult to get a seat at NIT Jalandhar for your rank, unless your home state is Punjab. You can check out the cutoff trends at NIT Jalandhar for previous years here: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-nit-jalandhar

However, if you want to get admission into an NIT, then you may have a chance at NIT Uttarakhand under home state quota for your category in Civil, E&E branches, which you can find here: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-uttarakhand

When it comes to branch change, it depends upon the availability of vacant seats in a particular branch. You can apply for branch change after completion of 2nd semester, if you have a CGPA of 7.5 or above and must have earned all first year credits. Selection will be based on merit, which will include both CGPA as well as JEE Main rank.

I would suggest you to apply for both state and JoSAA counselling for getting admission elsewhere too. To find out more about your chances of getting admission based on your rank, check out Careers360's JEE Main College Predictor 2020 in the link below:

Prashant Chaudhary 18th Sep, 2020

Hii,

It depends on your interest mainly. You should choose branch according to your interest. However going by the trends, Electronics or computer science is better for placements. While if we compare these two colleges, surely MS ramaiha institute of technology is better in term of reputation and placement. Final decision must be yours according to your strengths and preferences.

Thank you

In Ramaiha institute of technology which one is best . 1. Industrial engineering 2.Civil engineering

Aditya kumar singh 18th Sep, 2020

The most popular branches students opt in ramaiha institute of technology are computer science ,IT and ECE as placements are very high in these branches but if you are confused between industrial and civil engineering ,opt civil engineering as it is a core branch and it provides many government job opportunities after doing graduation or post graduation. Also in your college average placement in this branch is good if you maintain an aggregate of 70 percent.

Is industrial engineering and management is core branch .

Anurag pal Student Expert 18th Sep, 2020

Hey dear, yes industrial engineering and management is a core branch but many of the engineering colleges do not offer this branch, they have a particular subject on this on a particular semester. But, this is a very important core branch that every branch student must have a basic knowledge about it. Mainly this comes under mechanical engineering branch in many colleges because it deals with the ergonomy of industry and it's associates. It actually helps an individual to manage all the resources in a systematic way for the betterment of the industry and the surroundings which will result in a productive outcome.

Industrial engineering is core branch or not ?

Tapas Kumar Singh 17th Sep, 2020
Hello Rahul

Actually the core branches are those which form tha base of engineering This is because 90% problems related to engineering can be solved with the knowledge of the core branches

such as

Electrical engineering

mechanical engineering

civil engineering

chemical engineering

The industrial engineering are not a core branch because in industrial engineering.

Industrial engineeringis an engineering profession that is concerned with the optimization of complex processes system or organization by developing, improving and implementing integrated systems of people, money, knowledge, information, equipment, energy and materials.

Hope that's helpful
