Hi Vinod,
IELTS is conducted multiple times in a year. A total number of 48 IELTS dates (including Academic and General Training formats) were scheduled for the year 2018. It is mostly conducted on Thursdays or Saturdays. You can choose your date from the list of available IELTS dates while registering for the test. It is expected to be on the similar lines for 2019 and will be announced soon. Keep yourself updated by checking this link regularly: IELTS dates
As per the eligibility criteria to appear for IELTS, there are no minimum eligibility criteria for IELTS. As IELTS is conducted to assess a candidate’s proficiency in the English language, any individual who wishes to pursue education or seeking work opportunities abroad can apply for the IELTS test (both Academic and General Training). To know more about the eligibility, please check here: IELTS Eligibility Criteria
Exam pattern- There are two versions of the IELTS test, namely IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training and the results are graded on the unique IELTS 9-band scale for both the formats.
Both IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training are composed of four sections namely, Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. While each candidate is required to take the same Listening and Speaking modules in both the versions, it is the Reading and Writing modules that alters for the two versions. The total duration for the IELTS test is 2 hours 45 minutes. Check the complete pattern here - IELTS Test Pattern
Hi,
Well this does not happen very often. Sometimes due to some glitch in the software, the results might get displaced or some other issue might occur. But you don't have to worry about it cause they will get back to your result as soon as they can. Just calm and let them do what they can.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
Hi Vishvapreet,
What course do you want to pursue? Also, in which country do you aspire to pursue your higher education For undergraduate courses abroad you should have qualified your class 12th examination.
Most undergraduate programs abroad also require a good SAT or an ACT score along with the English proficiency test score like IELTS or TOEFL.
Do revert with details if you need more clarification.
Best wishes,
Yes you are eligible if you are in final year of graduation and have appeared for suitable entrance exams like GRe/GMAT and Language proficiency tests like TOEFl or IELTS . Students must have been pursuing graduate from recognised University and must have applied for respective colleges before deadline.
No, there is no any advantage on the basis of caste or scholorship and the acceptance of the IELTS 2018 score depends much on the IELTS selection procedure of the respective institute/university the candidate is applying to.
