A friend of mine wants to persure economics hons degree . will it br better to persue B.A.Economics (hons) from Cotton University or B.A economics from Chandigarh University? B.A economics (hons) degree from a govt university is better or normal B.a.Economics drgree from a reputated private uni?

Hi, whichever college or university you choose does not really matter. It all comes down to how much marks you have earned. If they wish to sit for campus placements then doing your degree from government college will help. If you wish to do your Masters and learn new things that will help you for your career than Private colleges will help. According to placement cells from both the universities Cotton universities and Chandigarh University have shown very nice placements. Cotton University all together has been a little better. I hope this helps you to choose which college or University is better for them.
