To get into CU, Kolkata, to do a B.Sc. in Mathematics , you must qualify for their admission requirements. Admission is usually merit-based based on your Class 12 marks in relevant subjects. Both universities have good placements. But the placements are better in Chandigarh University than Lovely Professional University. Lovely Professional University was established before Chandigarh University. Fee is bit higher in Chandigarh University than in lovely professional university . Lovely Professional University has a reputation than Chandigarh University. Lovely Professional University have better academic support when compared to Chandigarh University. In my opinion you should go for LPU.

LPU and Chandigarh University are well-known private universities.
