SLIET Punjab provides several scholarships according to merit basis. There are several eligibilty conditions for that purpose, one of them is that your family's annual income must not be more than Rs.2.5 lakhs. So, as a EWS candidate you can avail the merit cum means based scholarship after fulfilling all elgibilty requirements. The Merit cum means scholarship will cover your tuition fees and hostel fees too(if you are not a day scholar). The CS branch is probably one of the best branches to choose in SLIET Punjab. The faculty are all experienced dignitaries from IITs and NITs, with a PhD degree. The curriculum is regularly updated. The placements in the CS branch is maximum among all other branches. Companies like TCS, Adobe, Capgemini and Infosys visit the campus for placement objectives. The college provides industrial training, projects and consultancy to the students to enhace industrial exposure. Around 75-80% students from CS branch get placed every year. The Average Salary in this college ranges between Rs. 3-4.2 LPA while the highest salary offered till date Rs.18 LPA(data for the CS branch).
