Hello Aspirant!

The criteria for admission in MBA courses offered by University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh is as follows :-

Candidates willing to apply for MBA Programs at UBS must appear in Common Admission Test (CAT), conducted by IIMs.

Admission is granted on the basis of merit, which is determined by CAT scores (in the preceding year) of the candidates, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI). So, if you want to get admission in session 2021, your CAT 2020 scores will be required. The last date to submit the hard copy of application is over for this year.

After completing its online registration process ( which starts usually in the 3rd week of December), the candidate needs to take a print out of the application form and send its hard copy along with the required documents to the address mentioned on the print out of the application form.

Candidates will be called for GD & PI based on their score in the CAT, provided that they have secured at least 10% score in case of General candidates (5% for SC/ST/BC/PwD ) in each component of CAT i.e. quantitative logic & data interpretation, and verbal, and/or any other component to be added later. Not meeting this minimum score requirement will make the candidate ineligible to get shortlisted for GD & PI, irrespective of his/her category.

The weightage given is -

1. Written Test (CAT) : 85% of CAT percentage score (*not CAT percentile).

2. Group Discussion : 7.5%

3. Personal Interview : 7.5%

If a candidate fails to appear in any of the selection rounds, his/her candidature stands cancelled.

The final combined category-wise result of the candidates is displayed at UBS official website : http://ubsadmissions.puchd.ac.in
