According to WBJEE closing rank the next best institute is undoubtedly University of Calcutta (CU)... After that comes KGEC and then IEM, then JGEC and so on.. Choose in order :

Jadavpur University
Calcutta University
Kalyani Government Engineering College
Institute of Engineering and Management
Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College

First of all congratulations to you for scoring 1149 rank in wbjee.
I will tell you one thing , no college other than Jadavpur University is better at national level.
Your score is quite good to get admission in Jadavpur University in good branch in spot round .
If you want to know about other colleges then here's the list

thnq. but on the basis of last year cutoff I am not able to get atleast civil or chemical in ju and rest branches are not good I thougut so like production, metallurgy, constructionso I want to ask is it good to get in ju by taking metallurgy or get in iem with cs?

actually I am a student of JU and I will tell you one thing is that all the branches of JU except pharmacy is good enough than IEM CSE.

but at this rank I will assured you to have civil as your branch in spot round.

Tausif Shahanshah. I am a student from West Bengal , Ian a dropper and preparing for both jee main,neet as well wbjee ,i want to know what marks and ranks need to go to jadavpur etce , chemical and pakage , faculty ,they teaches what that is enough for gate or not ?
