Hello!!

IISc provides admissions in UG & PG programs through JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET, CEED, JAM, JEST, UGC NET, KVPY & other entrance tests. There will be separate criteria for these exams clearing which, the candidates get the admission.So yes,you can get an admission using your JEE main score.

Hello,


You cant get into any IISc with JEE mains marks.
In order to get in IISC one has to get at least a rank below 10,000 in Common Merit List in JEE Advanced to get admission.

IISC accept following entrance examination
  1. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)
  2. JEE Main
  3. JEE Advanced

Also there other eligibility criteria depending on your stream of studies.
