This year paper of jee mains which is conducted by NTA was little bit tough than previous year .So cutoff for ST will be lies in range (27-35).Rank in marks 55 will be around 5k in ST quota, this rank is quite good to get admission in VNIT for ST category under HS quota.Closing rank of VNIT for ST category under HS quota is 17k and your predicted rank is much better.So don't worry.

There are lot of private and government university which accept jee mains marks for admission .You will get lot of college under this marks under SC quota .Lot of NITs accept this marks .Closing rank of NIT Rourkela for ST quota is 7k(Others State) ,you have options.You will get lot of NIT .I hope you will satisfied with above answer .

Hey I am back.After the final results my ST category rank is 3347. can I get admission in VNIT under Home State Quota? also can I get any other NIT??Thanks in advance.
