VNIT Nagpur is a pretty good college for engineering. Hence the cutoff here aren't too low.
Let me tell you that last year the cutoff of chemical engineering for general category under the state quota closed at around 23000, while for OBC-NCL closed at 10178.
As your rank is 36797, you won't be able to get a seat in this college. So go for other colleges.
