Yeah! If you qualify JEE MAINS i.e., you have to qualify the cut off of JEE ADVANCED i.e., you must be in the top 1lac student (to be safe in order to be eligible in JEE ADVANCED) then you can definitely appear for JEE ADVANCED examination. IIST provides admission on the basis of JEE ADVANCED only and it has a very good offer that if you can score 8 GPA in the BTech course at IIST then you will be provided direct placements to ISRO.
