About me, I have passed higher secondary exam in 2000 and passed degree second year course in 2003, but due to some unavoidable problem, I could not continue the same to complete the third year as didn't take admission for the last year. It is almost 16 years gap now. So, if I wish, can I get admission now in ignou through distance learning or online, as I am engaged in a school. Please do reply where can I take admission? I was a student of Guwahati University. I would like to pursue the course from any government recognized University which is located in Assam.

IGNOU offeres B.A. distance courses for 3 to 6 years. In your case of Breaking study/Credit tranfer you can ask previous university of yours if they offer continuation of course or any other local university in which you can contact. Mainly the case is the government university from which you belong may accept your request of continuing study if you have passing marksheet of the previous one/two years. If you are willing to get admission in another state for lateral degree B.A. course there is a government university which openly offers admission in 2nd or 3rd year, i.e., Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. It also offers distance education including lateral B.A. courses online or offline.
