In order to take admission in IIST exam you must have 75% aggregate marks in class 12th and at least 65% in case of SC, ST and PD.
Candidates who are desirous to join B.Tech. Programmes in IIST must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi to qualify themselves to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced)-2017 conducted by IITs and secure the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in JEE (Advanced) as given below
There is no separate entrance test to get admission in IIST as the seats will be filled on the basis of Jee Advanced score/rank. Also, the application forms will be released in the month of June.
