CAT is a very important exam for all MBA aspirants as its score is accepted by all the Indian B schools. However it is not compulsory to give CAT to get admission in prestigious B schools. You can give exams like XAT, SNAP, CMAT, NMAT, MAT as alternatives.

Symbiosis group doesnt take any score except SNAP scores.

Xavier institutes take XAT scores very seriously. So there are many alternatives apart from CAT.
