IITs and NITs offers several Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses for students who wish to built a premier career in the field of Engineering.

JEE Mains is the gatepass for the students, who wish to join NITs and the Candidates who has secured top marks, fixed to a margin, for an instance around 2,50,000 candidates who has secured top ranks in JEE Mains will be qualified for writing JEE Advanced. Only JEE Advanced decides, whether you're an eligible candidate for getting into IITs.

Please note that IIT Kharagpur takes admission for its B.tech courses only through JEE Advanced and not through JEE Mains. To be eligible for JEE Advanced, you need to secure a qualifying rank in JEE Mains. The admissions are conducted once the JEE Mains and JEE are conducted and ranks are released. Counselling is done by JOSAA for admission. This year JEE Mains will be conducted on September 1st to 6th,2020 and JEE Advanced will be conducted on 27th September, 2020
For the year 2020, the eligibility criteria of 75% in class 12 boards for admission into IITs through JEE Advanced has been removed due to current situation as many exams were cancelled.

So, please prepare for both JEE mains and JEE Advanced so that to get admission into IITs. Through JEE Mains, you can apply for admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
