The eligibility criteria for MSc data science in chennai mathematical institute according to the website is

"M.Sc. in Data Science: Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc, BE, BTech, …) with a background in mathematics/statistics/computer science."

It says background so I suppose you should be eligible for the said course.
