MCI (Medical Council of India) also known as FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduates Examination). For the eligibility to write MCI exam, the candidate should be a citizen of India or overseas citizen of India and must have the primary medical qualification which is approved by the Indian Embassy concerned, to be a recognised qualification for enrolment as a medical practitioner in India. And the candidate who hold an UG medial qualification from Australia/ Canada/ New Zealand/ UK/ USA and seeking provincial or permanent registration are exempted to give the screening test.
