Simple 4 steps.

Online registration for JEE Main 2016: This is the first stage of JEE Main counseling process and hence students are instructed to be more careful if interested to go for further stages. Students are necessary to do the online registration for JEE Main counselling process 2016. Online registration for JEE Main Counselling will begin after the declaration of AIR. During online registration process candidates will be asked to enter information such as roll number, name, email, mobile number,etc

Filling of choice and locking: In this stage candidates will have to fill up their choice (branch,college preference) related to colleges/institutes. Candidates are instructed to verify the same and then lock their respective preference. All candidates must to fill up their choice and lock the same before the last date.

Document Verification and Announcement of Allocated Seats:The seats will be allotted to candidates based on their all India rank. After the seat will be allocated candidates need to go to the nearest reporting centres for document verification and further admission procedure.

Admission: Final state contains admission process. In this stage candidates needs to report to allocated colleges, verify all related documents and get admission by paying the specified admission fees.

Hi pratik,

If you are from general or Obc category, then you must have 75% in your pcm and for sc/St candidates, it is 65%.



Otherwise you will be disqualified.



You can also get good private colleges by your jee mains rank..

As per JEE MAINS eligibility criteria there is no prescribed percentage to appear in the examination. Candidates having passing marks can also apply. However candidates must have to take minimum 5 subjects in 12th/equivalent examination. Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2018 must have passed class 12th with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

Thanks Ambika... For your help.My 12th marsm are yet to come I think it may be 65 to 70 percent... AND 75%IS QULIGQUALI MARM TO ELIGIELI FOR JEE ADIf i secured goog mark on Jee mains ,then can I eligelig for applying in NIT.   I'M SO CONFUSED pleple guide me...

Just focus on Jee Mains right now. To get admission Jee Mains is really important. Try to score as good as you can.
