For jee mains 2021 i can give you only predictions according to my calculations you need to score a minimum of 180+ to get cse or electronic and communication in nit Durgapur . 180+ would be sure for you to confirm your seat and also.you would have the benefit of obc category.

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat in nit as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , for obc ncl category  closing rank for gender neutral for other state in nit Durgapur is provided below:-

• Computer science :- 2691

• Electronics and communication :- 3951

And 2691 obc rank is roughly around 150 marks and 3951 obc rank is around 140 marks ,for this rank vs marks you can refer to our predictor at

But yes cutoff keep changing every year, so to be on the safer side target at least around 160 marks  in your jee main 2021

The cut off in 2020  for NIT, Durgapur was as follows

Computer Science and Engineering

• General: 8215
• OBC-NCL:2691

Electronics and Communication Engineering

• General:13191
• OBC-NCL:3951

You have not mentioned whether you come under OBC-NCL or ONC-CL. Candidates belonging to OBC-CL are considered as general category candidates. The cut off rank may slightly go up or down in 2021 depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.

According to the previous year cut off you need to score minimum 160-180 marks to get seat in NIT, Durgapur if you belong to OBC-NCL but if you belong to OBC-CL you need to score minimum 190-210 marks to have decent chances of getting seat.
