IIT Hyderabad has released a full fledged course for Artificial Intelligence BTech from 2019 only, hence it is not clear what the expected cut off will be.

The opening rank for CSE in IIT Hyderabad is 445, taking into the consideration that AI has high demand nowadays, you can expect the opening rank to be around 800-1000.

Note: Since this is the first year of the course, this is just an estimated guess.

                      Yes, IIT Hyderabad is all set to launch a full-fledged B.Tech program in  Artificial Intelligence program from this year onwards.

The institute claims to be the first educational institution to launch such programe as full fledged btech program after Caneige Mellon University & MIT, USA.

According to a press release issued by the institute on Jan 17, the course will have intake of 20 students who will be selected through JEE ADVANCED. However, the institute also has their M.TECH program in Machine Learning. So, students are seeking for admission in that courses, I will have great exposure in future.

The course will comprise algorithms from the Computer Science department, signal processing from Electrical department, robotics from mechanical department & mathematical foundation. The course will also focus on application verticals such as health care, agriculture, smart mobility among any others.

So, you should get the exposure of many departments which an engineer also need. But, one thing, by now IIT Hyderabad doesn't updated on their official website in their courses. Also not able to tell the cut offs, as it is launching this year so it's pretty though to assume the cut offs. But I thing the cut offs will be as well as the Computer Science department.
Because these days the need of AI engineers getting bigger. So, many candidates are seeking to take admission in that course.

So, study hard & try to rand under 500-800 in JEE ADVANCED.
