Hi Yash,
Hope you are doing well. The answer for your question is Yes. You can get an aeronautical engineering seat in NMIT with a rank of 22,241. Previous year, the cutoff rank for aeronautical engineering in NMIT was 39,558 after second round of seat allotment. This year it will surely decrease but not much. So you have a chance for it. Regarding mechanical engineering in good colleges, you may also get a seat for mechanical engineering in good colleges but not in top colleges. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.
