Punjab University has devided its courses in 4 categories   You choice belog to category 3

Category 1 : MA, MBA, MCA  Etc. Courses which does not require any entrance test.

Category 2 : MEd.,Mtect, Msc. Honours etc. 

Category 3 :

• First Year B.Tech four year (CSE , ESE, ECM, ME,  & CIVIL) 
• Lateral entry for Diploma Holders In 2nd Year,
• Six year Interated course (First Year)
• Lateral entry in five years Engineering Management  Integrated Programme ( Second year)

You are advised to follow 2 step procedure i.e.

• Step 1 : Submit the Application-cum Admission Form
