More than 70% of the Engineering Graduates have been placed in Sastra University according to the 2019 placements data.  This is approximately more than 2500 Candidates. The average annual pay was Rs.9.3 lakhs per annum. Rs. 28.5 lakhs per annum was the highest pay and Rs.3.6 lakhs per annum was the least pay. Companies like Amazon, Pay Pal, Microsoft, Deloitte, Rockwell Collins, TIGER Analytics, IDEABOARD, ABCO, Informatica, TCS, IBM, Zoho, Freshworks, Infosys, Cognizant, WIPRO, Caterpillar and Dr. Reddy's were the leading companies.

In the year of 2019 around 80 percent students got placements in Information and communication technology branch and the highest package is 20 lack per anum and the lowest package is 4 lack per anum and the average package is around 9.5 lack per anum and many top companies vist the Sastra University for Information and communication Technology for recruiting students some of them are Infosys, Google, TCS, Microsoft, CTS nad Cognizant.
