Placements here are done based on the merit of the student and not on the marks of them. Even a 6 GPA scorer can get the job if he has knowledge of the subject he studied. Marks are not the only criterion for the placement. The knowledge and the understanding of the subject is what impresses the recruiter. In our college every year almost 600 students are getting placed in their core companies and 1000 students in software sector.
It's raining down at Sastra. If you are fit enough, if you are talented enough, there will be 3 to 4 job offers in the top MNCs by the end of the 4th year. If you are an average student, IT job is easy to obtain through Sastra. Various dream companies like Amazon, Paypal, Microsoft, Hyundai, Flipkart visit the college for campus placements regularly year after year, but major recruiters are TCS and CUB.
