Don’t run behind multiple study material to prepare for JEE Main.Students should choose books that cover entire JEE Main Syllabus and are as per JEE Main Pattern. Suggesting the books for preparation of Mathematics. Complete Mathematics by McGraw Hill Education Pvt Ltd., Coordinate Geometry by S.L. Loney and 103 Trigonometry Problems by Titu Andreescu & Zuming Feng are some of the good books that JEE aspirants can refer.

Hi, In class 11th you can start with understanding the formulae which you study in your class. You are actually forming a base for your JEE main entrance. If you have a good grip on the basics taught in Class 11 then even if you don’t know the correct answer outright, you can discard the wrong ones by the process of elimination. You can apply the elimination process in the multiple choice questions only if you’re sound with the fundamentals.

Some of the important topics for JEE such as Rotational Motion, Kinematics, Simple Harmonic Motion (for Physics), Chemical Bonding, General Organic Chemistry, Equilibrium, Atomic Structure (for Chemistry), and Probability, Permutation & Combination, Coordinate Geometry (for Mathematics), etc. are taught in Class 11. Hence, having a good grip on Class 11 syllabus would definitely help you succeed in JEE-Main.

Remember that it’s very difficult to cover the lost preparation of Class 11 in Class 12. The syllabus of each Class is so exhaustive that trying to complete them together in one year is not an easy task. Therefore it would be a grave mistake to avoid or skip the Class 11 curriculum if you’re preparing for JEE.

Go through previous year papers as well.

Do nothing except studies in 11th as for you other interests you will have plenty of time afterwards incase you are interested and passionate about Jee Main.

Good luck.

Go through well with NCERT books to clear your concept. Here are some preparation tips you can follow.

1. Know your Syllabus Well: Check on the full syllabus of JEE Main 2018 before laying out your schedule for the upcoming studies. Through a full check on the syllabus, you will be able to know which units and topics are to be studied under each subject.

2. Work on a Time Table: Work towards creating a perfect timetable which will fit your schedule while leaving enough time to prepare for the examination within the days left. Specific number of hours can be divided between the three subjects so that you do not feel bored studying the repeated subject for a long period of time. Make sure to add short and sweet breaks in between for some relaxation.

3. Make your Basic Concepts Strong: While it is essential to study the topics mentioned in the official syllabus, it is also advised to study the basic concepts well first. By knowing the basic concepts of the units involved in the examination, you will be able to understand each topics well and in depth. This will result in a greater understanding of the topics and will make it simpler for you to study complicated concepts present in the syllabus.

4. Improve your Weak Points: Stressed over some topics or formulas which you just cannot seem to understand? Give more time and focus on these topics to improve it. Keep small notes and constantly revise those concepts which has been hard to understand. By constantly studying the topics you find difficult, you will be able to be well prepared in them for the upcoming examination.

5. Write Notes and Prepare Flash Cards: Notes written in small diaries are highly accessible and you will be able to study from them anywhere anytime. By writing down those complicated theories and formula and revising them, you will be able to remember and understand them more efficiently. Similarly, create flash cards to help you with quick studies and revision.

6. Attempt Mock Test and Solve Sample Papers: Mock tests will give you an almost real experience of how the examination will be. By solving mock tests, you will be able to work on time management while at the same time understanding the question paper pattern. Similarly, sample papers will let you practically apply all of the topics you have been studying till now. Preparation using mock test and sample papers will let you know how much syllabus you have covered and where you will need to work to improve.

7. Revision: it is important to revise those topics which has already been studied. It is advised that each day, a certain amount of time should be divided for revision purposes. By revising the previously studied topics, you will be able to keep afresh everything that has been studied till now.
