Both NIT silchar as well as NIT kurukshetra are good ones.
Whether it is in terms of academics, which is almost same for every NIT, faculties, facilities or placements, everything among them is more or less similar.
For M.Tech, both of them could be a good choice.
So, it depends on your rank, priority, course and convenience, that which of them would you prefer to choose.
Go for any of them, you won't regret if later.
