The campus life in SLIET Punjab is great as per student reviews. It is a pretty old university with really established infrastructure and faculty. It has a dense green campus of 451 acres which is quite big. There are total 9 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel in the campus. All the hostels have WiFi facility. Gym and stadium for supporting sports interests of the students are also present. Other facilities like library, smart classrooms and spacious air conditioned lecture halls are present. The environment is pretty secure for students. The faculty are all experienced dignitaries from IITs and NITs, with a PhD degree. The curriculum is regularly updated.

Coming to the placement scenario, it is average right now. The placements in the CS branch is maximum. Companies like TCS, Adobe, Capgemini and Infosys visit the campus for placement purposes. The college provides industrial training, projects and consultancy to the students to enhace exposure. About 75-80% students from CS branch get placed and the statistics are increasing every year. The Average Salary in this college ranges between Rs. 3-4.2 LPA while the highest salary figures offered till date Rs.18 LPA(data for the CS branch).
