How many marks should I get in jee advanced to get in IIT hyderabad ? I Am obc candidate

Hello Aspirant,

According to previous year data, the students ranking between 2336 and 2814 have got the chance to take admission under OBS NCL category.

Advanced is not about the marks you get, but about the rank, you get relative to others.

The official cut off for this session will be released shortly. Till then, candidates can check the cutoffs of JEE Advanced 2018 in the following article.  IIT Kanpur, the organizing institute of JEE Advanced 2018 declared the cut off with the announcement of Resul t . JAB has released the extended list of JEE adv qualified candidates by lowering the aggregate cut off marks to 90 (25%) from 126 (35%). An addition of 13850 students to the original list of 18138 have cleared the exam conducted on May 20.

Students now can take admission for various undergraduate courses at IIT Hyderabad can check the JEE Advanced cutoff for IIT Hyderabad which will be released by the authorities. Cutoff of JEE Advanced 2019 for IIT Hyderabad will be released in online mode along with opening and closing ranks for candidates belonging to different categories. While preparing the cutoff, various factors like the number of candidates applied and appeared, the difficulty level of JEE Advance d and cutoff trends of previous years will be taken into consideration. To improve their chances of admission, candidates must secure marks higher than the cutoff of JEE Advanced for IIT Hyderabad.

  • It is a two-step process. One needs to qualify the JEE (Main) exam and then take the JEE (Advanced) exam.
  • One must have secured at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII OR One must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination.
  • Admissions are done on the basis of rank in JEE (Advanced) through JoSAA counselling
