The admission in Thapar University for Btech is given on the basis of JEE Main score and at least 60% marks in 12th standard. On the basis of JEE Main score and percentage of 12th standard Thapar University makes a merit list and admissions are given according to that. On the basis of 12th marks you need atleast 60% marks in PCM . for brief information you can check it in the prospectus available on TIET's website http://www.thapar.edu/
