Hi Aspirant. Hope you are doing great!

So, Delhi University offers various foreign language courses. There is a cluster of part-time certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, and full-time degree courses at the university level or you may get to choose certain programs offered by other colleges as well.

Now, there ,

  1. Part-time courses (Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma)
  2. Full-time Courses (BA, MA, M.Phil, and Phd)

For certificate courses, the candidate must have passes 10+2 , with a minimum aggregate of 45% . Although, the admission is solely based on merit.

For diploma courses , candidates must have passed the certification exam of DU. Again, admission will be based on merit. Though, if you have done certificate course from any other university, you will have to take up admission test.

For advanced diploma courses , candidate should have passed diploma exam in the respective language. Again, you have to take up admission test, if you have done your diploma from any other university.

For the full-time courses, DU offers BA (French, German, Italian and more); MA (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, and more) the admission again, is based based on merit.

Hope this helps you!

Happy Learning!

Regards!
