Please be specific with your question. Cut offs for various NITs vary depending on various factors.
Do mention the NIT which you talking about so that we can help you with your question.
In general, a minimum score of 200+ in jee main is required to get into prestigious NIT

For computer science and engineering it is 1592 ,
For Ece it is 7204
