Every IIM has different policy of giving weightage for the 10th and secondary PU (12th)standard marks . You need to nave a excellent CAT score to get into top IIM . If your and other applicants CAT score match then they will do the tie breaker via analysing the 10th /12th marks...

There the best opportunity to make it by having at least scoring 90 % in both 10th/12th std .Your stream does not matter here . The 90% matters.

Hope you have understood .

hi,

see to get admission in mba courses in insian institute of management i.e IIM, you need to appear in cat exam, i.e common admission test, now there is 20 iims india, where iim ahmedabad, iit bangalore, iim kolkata etc are old iims, IIM shortlisted candidates based on academic score and cat percentile according to section wise, also the cutoff score varies according to category of students, for general category cutoff score is always hire, so if your 10th and 12th score is ranges from 85-90 percentage and if you also get the same score in graduation with a decent percentile in cat you have fair chances to shortlisted BY iims.
