IIT Palakkad offers  M Sc Courses  in Chemistry and Physics. Admission to each of the M Sc courses is based on the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM). The candidates applying for M.Sc must qualify JAM and have Bachelor's degree with 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC /Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10for SC/ST/PWD candidates. The eligible candidates can apply through the JAM portal and register for counselling and elect IIT Palakkad as their first preference.
