About IIT Palakkad
Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad is an autonomous engineering and research institute established in the year 2015 and located in Palakkad, Kerala. It is one among the five new IITs proposed in the 2014 Union budget of India. IIT Palakkad has been ranked 69th in the engineering category under the NIRF 2023. The institute provides admission to the B.Tech courses for candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced. Seat allocation for admission to IIT Palakkad's B.Tech programmes is managed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). For admission to the Postgraduate courses M.Sc and MTech at IIT Palakkad, a candidate needs to qualify JAM. The institute currently operates at two campuses, the temporary campus, Ahalia and a transit campus, Nila. The Nila and Ahalia campuses at IIT Palakkad are well connected by road, rail and air. IIT Palakkad situations 2020 saw cooperation of 70 organizations across different areas like IT, Research and Development, Consultancy, Core Engineering and Analytics. An aggregate of 86 offers were made during the IIT Palakkad Placement 2020 season. The top scouts of IIT Palakkad incorporate OYO, GE, Yodlee, UST Global, L&T Groups, and so on There is a 24x7 Wi-Fi office on our grounds with sufficient web speed and study halls. IIT Palakkad is totally private with isolated lodgings for young ladies and young men. On Ahalia grounds, there are four lodgings named from inn 1 to inn 4.
