1. Eligibility

10+2 passed or equivalent from a recognized board

Minimum marks: 50% in aggregate for general category (relaxation for reserved categories)

Age limit: 17–21 years for first year (check latest JMI notification)

2. Entrance Exam

JMI admits students for BA LLB through JMI Law Entrance Test (JMILET) or CLAT UG

For general category, JMILET score of 80+ percentile is usually considered competitive

Reserved categories may require lower percentile

3. Application Process

Visit JMI official admission portal: https://www.jmi.ac.in/admissions

Fill out UG Law application form online

Upload required documents: 10th and 12th mark sheets, photo, signature

Pay application fee

Appear for the entrance exam

4. Admission Selection

Merit list is prepared based on entrance exam score + qualifying marks

Counselling is conducted online/offline

Seats allotted according to rank and category

• Score above 80 percentile in CLAT or JMILET for a safe seat

BA LLB admission in Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI):

• Eligibility: 12th pass with minimum 50% marks (English compulsory).

• Admission Mode: JMI's own entrance exam (not CUET/CLAT).

•Steps:

a. Apply online on JMI admission portal.

b. Appear for JMI  BA LLB entrance test.

c. Merit list and counselling based on score.

• Required score(approx):

- General: ~95-100 marks

- Reserved Categories:  slightly lower(varies yearly)

Admission is highly competitive competitive,so a strong entrance score is required.
