Tarun, JEE Advanced, formerly known as IIT-JEE, is one of the most difficult exams in the entire world, conducted by one of the IIT's-- Delhi, Bombay, Madras, Guwahati, Kanpur and Kharagpur. This year, it was organized by IIT Delhi. To crack exam, a minimum of 5% in each subject (for General, non-EWS candidates) and 17.50% score in total is required. This year, out of 1,50,838 candidates, 43,204 test-takers have qualified this examination.

But simply scoring the cut-off marks does not guarantee admission to one of the premiere engineering institutes of India---the IITs. You can check the opening and closing ranks for admission to the IITs, as given by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) on their official website.
