GNDU admission process varies from course to course. Thus, candidates are offered admission in few courses on the basis of an entrance exam and for others on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination.

Courses like BTech (Urban &Regional Planning) ;Bachelor of Tourism & Travel Managementchelor of Tourism & Travel Management;BA (Hons) Social Science, Economic, Punjabi, Chemistry, Physics, Humans Genetic,BCA,MBA,M.Com,M Ed,BA,MSc(IT) are offered without entrance examination on the basis of Marks in the qualifying exam.
