Hello Ashwin,

Your option of doing a Masters in BITS is indeed a good choice since its one of the most reputed universities in India. As you know, Brand name attracts companies , doing a masters in BITS and acing it can land you into one the top companies. I don't think this gap will cause any problems to placement if you provide a proof of your online work certificates(if provided) or include it in your CV.

Thank you for the answer. But my online freelancing work is not my domain related, as I did with my hobby skills such as photography, admin roles etc. mainly to earn side by side till I find a permanent job or higher studies. But courses are all my domain related only, and also I had many family responsibilities too. Can I justify my gap with these? It is really messing up my mind daily and I am unable to concentrate on entrance tests.

Hello Ashwin ,Anything you do extra add more value to your CV. Many companies even look at your non technical skills and decide your value based upon that. Yes, you can very much justify your gap just by mentioning either as "family responsiblity" or "went passsion oriented" (I hope photography is your passion).Take that burden off, and relaxPrepare for the bestAll the best

Hello Ashwin,Your career is indeed what you create. If you're really intrested in pursing more higher studies , i would suggest you to take up GRE and work for 2-3 years, gain some financial support and you can do MSc in foreign countries.(IF YOU'RE REALLY INTERESTED) MSc and ME has more weightage , probably you might get top MNC's outside India.Hope that helps

I already took GRE in 2016 itself, due to financial problems, i dropped those plans and also I can't get admit due to such a gap.
