There is a tough chance for you to get admission in Delhi Technological University (DTU) in Electrical Branch with this rank if  you are a Delhi candidate as last year's closing rank was 29,998 in 6th Round. But still you can get other branches in DTU that are Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Engineering Physics.

Hello student its tough to get electrical in DTU with this rank because you're Genral and we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on category rank.All India rank is used for admission in DTU .If you are from general category, your rank should d be under 30k for admission.B better therank, better the branch you will get. 1.For CS , IT and SE your rank should be under 10k. 2. For EE,ME,CE and MCE your rank should be under 20k.

According to previous year statistics, you have chances of getting electrical in dtu but in spot round,
Previous year the cut off rank in the last round that is round 6 was around 30k for electrical branch, and in the spot round it went to 40k for Delhi candidate.
So, do apply for the spot round for getting electrical branch.
