Hello buddy, With this tank you can get seat at  Punjab university, GNDEC, GNDU. It's hard to get seat at Thapar University but may be you got seat their because it's private institution. You will get good Branch at PU but not CSE, IT. But you will  get CSE at GNDU and GNDEC. According to previous year Cutoff you can even get seat at NIT jalandhar in Textile branch in Spot Round. If Spot round will happen than you may get seat according to previous year cutoff but it's vary every year.

HI, There seem to be less chances in Thapar but chances in Punjab University is there.
Also you can apply in other state private colleges to get a seat in btech. You can apply in Haryana, UP, Rajasthan etc.
