Comprehensive Guide: IIT's | NIT's | IIIT's
Dear Aspirant, at this, marks your percentile would be around 94.9-96.9. At this percentile, your general AIR would be around 36461-40461. Your OBC category AIR would be around 9147-10147. According to previous years' trends and cutoff, it is slightly difficult to get CSE branch as closing rank is near about 9400. So it can't be said that surely you would get CSE branch as this year's cutoff is still not out(which will be available after results only). Also, this is the predicted rank and not the actual rank.
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
Hello Chirag,
JEE Mains is an annual exam that is conducted by the National Testing Agency and the CBSE for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other institutes. It also serves as the first stage for admission to IITs through JEE Advanced.
EWS is a new category that has been created by the MHRD for economically weaker sections. 10% seats will be reserved for those candidates whose annual family income is less than INR 8 lakh per annum.
As for your question, considering your marks and that you are a OBC category candidate, you should be able to get SVNIT under homestate quota but you won't be getygetCSE, it would be one of the less preferred branches.
