This is genuine dilemma that most of the students get stuck into but you have to understand this that inly you have to decide what you want to do where you want to go before getting offboat.
You are talking about two totally different things...there's a lot of differences between both the branch so about this you only have to explore your inner self and decide where your interest lies.


As far as the colleges are concerned then let me tell you that BIT sindri is the one the best government engineering college in jharkhand and has great placement records and recognition whereas NIFFT ranchi was established in 1966 by the Government of India in collaboration with UNDP - UNESCO to provide qualified engineers and specialists for running Foundry and Forge industries and it also has great placement records.

So now you have the idea of the colleges and you have to study which course you want choose.

As you know BIT sindri is more famous than NIFT also you get the better branch ie mechanical. So i think you should go with BIT sindri in Mechanical branch.
