you are intersted indrawing and have knowledge of it then it means you can do it ,still drawing does maters but as presently their are computer softwares present so designer can design even with not good drawing and remember designing depend on the process of design that have to be follow and calculation after then its engineering drawing part come a good designer have all knowledge of all the above things
