Hello,

Yes, definitely it will cause a lot of trouble for you if you choose a category in an application then you must have a proper legal documents as evidence at the time of counselling and if you will not have that then you will be rejected straightaway.

if I get more cut off, then I will get IIT in general category. if I qualify in general category...is that compulsory to submit the OBC certificate?
