I belong to tamilnadu but my kids are studied (1 - 12th) in maharashtra. Also myself and my kids are having maharashtra domicile certificate. I am having ration card and school certificate belongs to tamilnadu. Is my kid eligible to apply in tamilnadu state quota based on my tamilnadu nativity.

Hi aspirant,

As theprofile suggests you are a medicine aspirant and hence the question must be in reference to Neet 2021. Following are some of the important criterias that one needs to fulfill in order to get the benefits of home domicile in neet counselling process:

  • He/she should be a native of that particular state.
  • He/ she should have completed either secondary or senior secondary education from a recognized school in the state.
  • Parents must have been working in public/ private forum in the state recognized by the state government for at least 7 years.

So if any of these criterion are fulfilled your daughter will surely get the benefits of home state reservation.

Hope it helps!!
