B clause means even your parents should have done their schooling in Karnataka for at least 7 years and you have to submit all the proof on your seat allocation day

I am eligible for clause b, but what's the difference between a and b? If I choose b, will I get additional reservations or any other advantages? I'm eligible for both the clauses..
