Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a professional Master's Degree in computer science awarded in India. The course was designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology. It is a postgraduate course that can be taken up after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree. The MCA programme is inclined more toward Application Development and thus has more emphasis on latest programming language and tools to develop better and faster applications. An MCA graduate can work for any IT company big or small as a system developer and various other roles such as :

* Software Programmer

* Software Engineer

* Software Developer

* Systems Analyst

* Software Application Architect

* Software Consultant

MBA as a course imparts a strong theoretical foundation in business concepts, provides practical opportunities (via internships, group assignments and individual projects) to test what students learn in the class, builds hard-skills in the areas of management and leadership, polishes a range of soft-skills like communication, motivation and negotiation, opens up global opportunities for career growth, allows MBA students to start an independent business after graduating. After MBA you can expect a job as a Manager or an Analyst in Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations and other domains

Now as these two are very different streams its upto you how you see your self in future.

The choice depends on your interest.

If you're vouching for technical roles then MCA is bezt option.

If you're targeting technical cum management roles I suggest go with Mba in systems.

CAT 2017 will reqyire ample of preparation and is scheduled on 26th November.

So you're left with One month itslef.

This time is not recommended for starting new rooics rather focus on below mentioned strategy:--

1.Try to analyze your mock results, by judging how much time you devote to wrong questions, how many questions are unattempted, how much more you could have done, what questions consume lot of time. Accordingly you can identify weaknesses and focus and revise on them to convert it into strengths.

2. For last one month, its advisable to revise mistakes and weak areas if any, and relax alot to stay calm for Final day.

3.You should finalize your test taking strategy by this time. For mock exams go with websites like TestFunda, Oliveboard, HitbullsEye.

4.Giving atleast 20 mock exams and rectification of repetitive mistakes is key to success in CAT, your score shall improve for sure.
